When a patient visits our office, our goal is to make each patient’s experience a positive one in our new, comfortable, caring, and safe environment. Your health is important to us and we are dedicated to providing quality care.
Hours & Appointments
Metro Family Physicians Medical Group is open daily Monday-Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm.
We ask that our patients arrive 15 minutes prior to the appointment time for check-in. During this check in process we can update your contact info and verify your insurance. This additional time also allows us to ensure we answer any questions or concerns you may have prior to your appointment. We will make it a priority to start your appointment on time, and hope you will, too. While we understand that there will be unforeseen circumstances, we cannot inconvenience other patients whose appointments will be affected if you are late. We will try our best to accommodate late arrivals, however please know that there may be times when late arrivals must be rescheduled.
If you are unable to make your appointment, we ask that you reschedule 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid a $50 cancellation or “no-show” charge. Missed appointments mean lost revenue for the office and delayed medical evaluation for other patients in need.
If you are scheduling well children appointments for siblings, please note that each child needs to have their own individual appointments. This ensures we will have adequate time to address your concerns about each child.
At Metro Family Physicians Medical Group we are strongly committed to immunizing children in order to protect them against infectious disease. All of our providers adhere to the vaccination guidelines developed by the Academy of Family Physicians.

At Metro Family Physicians Medical Group, we are delighted to provide you with comprehensive preventative medical services. A complete physical is defined to include a physical examination, discussion of risk factors for cardiovascular disease and cancer, with focus on a healthy lifestyle that includes diet and exercise. It also includes review of any recent tests and recommendations of needed screening tests and/or immunizations.
Your physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner may recognize problems or abnormal test results, and/or you may choose to discuss ongoing acute and chronic health issues at today’s visit. We actually encourage it as it is our customary practice to attempt to address all of your health concerns within the time allotted. Because these additional services rendered are beyond a standard physical, additional charges will be applied to you or your insurance plan. Thus, it is our office policy to collect a co-pay for this visit. Occasionally, no additional services are rendered. If your insurance plan dictates, we will refund your co-pay. We know that your time is valuable and we encourage you to discuss all important medical issues with your provider in the 30 minutes allotted for your yearly physical.
Referrals and Authorizations
Each individual insurance company requires that we put in for a prior authorization for certain specialty visits, procedures, medications, and durable medical equipment. Typically this process takes 7-10 business days. For questions or concerns regarding prior authorizations, please contact our office at 858 514 3700.
Most radiology studies must be prior authorized through your insurance carrier prior to scheduling an appointment. Once your insurance has approved your authorization, we will notify you of the facility and provide you with the contact information in order for you to schedule your appointment. Most of our Radiology studies are done at the following locations:

Dr. Eros, Dr. Marin, and Dr. Sadrieh are affiliated with Sharp Memorial Hospital. Therefore we prefer for ease and accessibility to your records that you use one of their four locations:

However, if a medical emergency should arise we suggest you proceed to the nearest Emergency Room.
