Ms. Lindsay Ambur, PA graduated from University of South Dakota with a Masters of Science in Physician assistance studies (MSPAS). Ms. Ambur also acquired her bachelor of science with a major in psychology & minor is criminal justice at the same prestigious university. During her clinical training Ms. Ambur learned and practiced diagnostic techniques and treatment plans for vast array of medical conditions and received training to perform common clinical procedures. Her medical training consisted of clinical rotations and service in the area of Family medicine, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Dermatology, & Emergency medicine. Ms. Lindsay Ambur PA is licensed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant.
Prior to joining Metro Family Medical group Ms. Lindsay Ambur PA was a member of Family heath Centers of San Diego and provided care for 2 satellite clinics serving the under-privileged & Underserved population in Lemon Groove, & Spring Valley.
As a member of the Metro Family Medical Group, Lindsay Ambur PA strives to provide the highest level of care while being a strong patient advocate of health. She is an active member of the patient care team and works to tailor her treatment specifically to each patient’s individual needs.
When not at work, she is actively involved with the San Diego State University Flying Samaritans. An organization dedicated to providing medical brigades to the underserved, impoverished community of Ejido Matamoros in Tijuana, Baja California. She is the leading medical provider for this chapter, providing sustainable healthcare with a monthly clinic to the community.
Ms. Ambur enjoys living an active lifestyle. Her hobbies include hiking, biking, running, watersports and riding her dirt bike as well as volunteering in the community.
